Sudoku4KidsByGK index
These are "Sudokus made easy".
They are made easy by
First do (all) the YELLOW squares
then do the GREEN squares
then do the BLUE squares
then do the PINK squares.
All the sudokus I have entered, and my instructions are
in this pdf. Date changed to 2010.
(The original Dec 2008 version is in the file
sudoku08C.pdf.)
- xmasCard.pdf
- Adapted from a book bought by Pat for Finn which he found too hard
- Miscellaneous
- Flightjuly.pdf
I haven't done many Sudokus myself, but this one, the first I did
was done on the plane from Melbourne to Perth in July 2008.
I find it easier to write programs to solve (at least easy ones
like Flightjuly).
Indeed it was after writing my easySudokuSolver that I decided it
could also produce these files, 4Kids.

From this site I can get text strings defining do-able sudokus.
These strings are like those used by Gordon Royle,
except they use a . where Gordon (and I) would use a 0
It is at the "seed" box on that page, e.g.
73..1....8..2..4..4....5.....4..738..8..3..4..12...7.....8....9..9..2..4....5..23
