It is being developed to raise the level of mathematical knowledge in the general community. Each link will explain a widely used concept in mathematics in a brief and intuitive way, so that anyone can understand it.
I stress that there will be NO equations presented at any time! The aim here is not to make you a mathematician; rather it is to inform you about the basic ideas which underlie mathematics.
Maths is not a 'bag-of-tricks', as it is commonly perceived, where you put in a problem and magically the solution appears. It is mostly concerned with ideas and how these ideas represent what is happening. Sometimes the technical and numerical details can appear daunting. However, as I've worked through the technical details, it means that you need not do it yourself in order to understand these mathematical ideas. Please take advantage and read on...
