Training dive - Deep dive
Buddy: Glenn Hooper
Instructors: Paul Masters and Lochie Smith
Final dive of PADI Deep Diver course.
We got separated from the rest of Lochie's group at the entry, because
of a strong surge
at the instant we descended. We missed the tether line and swam across
to another line which
turned out to be a cray pot line.
Descended to wreck at 39 m without finding the group. Glenn signalled
'ascend' and in view of the
shortage of time I agreed. We made a good slow ascent and safety stops
on the line, then exited,
surface swim against current back to boat.
