My brother Rob
is a television editor at ABC TV in Melbourne.
My brother Viv
is an engineer with Ford Australia in Melbourne. He is also part of
a team that builds solar cars and holds several speed records.
My father, Arthur,
is a retired engineer who worked in many areas of electronics and in postal
mechanisation. He is a keen rower, and broadcasts a radio program of brass
band music called Let The Bands Play on Community
Radio 3CR in Melbourne.
My mother, Pat, is
a retired teacher and academic historian. She has devoted a lot of her
time in retirement to the charity organisation Foodshare and recently
received an Australia Day Award.
